Kelly Lorene is a California native who splits her time between Northern and Southern California. As the youngest of three girls, Kelly views family as her most valuable asset, and loves that her parents and sisters have always been a big part of her life. Kelly attended design school in Long Beach, California before launching multiple careers as an interior designer, home renovator, artist, and aesthetician. She has been redesigning homes for as long as she can remember: to her, design is a way of life that allows her to see the possibilities around her, to seek the beauty and joy of life. Through renovations, resales, and clever investing, Kelly retired before the age of fifty, and she is now living her best life with her lifelong love, husband of over thirty years, and business partner, Mike. Her other favorite people are her wonderful boys Chase and Chandler and her beautiful daughter-in-law Stepheni. There is no place she would rather be than with her friends and family.

Elba Raquel Ploum

Elba Raquel Ploum is a tenacious and vivacious firecracker born to a Honduran immigrant and raised in the Louisiana heat. She was the second youngest of six siblings. Raquel has a passion for global travel, and she has lived in Sun City, South Africa; Tokyo, Japan; Paris, France; and on both coasts of the United States. She prioritizes personal development and participates in healing retreats and coaching for personal growth. After a lifetime of suppressing trauma, Raquel spent a few years in intentional solitude practicing shadow work. She took a full-on, in depth, honest look at all aspects of herself and found parts that she did not like. She committed to working on them. While reflecting on her life, she organically created her Emotional Intelligence Formula, a 4-step process to acknowledge and evaluate your inner world. Now, she is that vivacious girl again, and she spends her time dancing, reading, shooting pool, and soaking up every minute she gets to spend with her two grown children Ashley and Elijah, her granddaughter Mia, and her four-legged fur baby Gracie.

Julie Green

Author of A Thousand Little Memories

Julie Green is a grief recovery specialist, a mother of four, and a registered nurse who has taken care of the tiniest and most vulnerable patients in the NICU for almost thirty years. After the shocking death of her 19-year-old son Jack to suicide, she began a personal journey toward reclaiming joy after profound loss. Along this pilgrimage, Julie gained experience in many therapeutic methods that helped her to move through her grief, including the Grief Recovery Method, a framework that helped her to process the loss of her son and several others. Finally free from the weight of these losses, Julie found the space to recreate herself and her life. Julie is now the Parish Nurse at St. James Episcopal Church in Newport Beach, California and a prominent mental health advocate on their Health Ministry Team and in the greater Orange County area. She became a certified specialist in the Grief Recovery Method and now leads groups of people through their own pilgrimage of healing.

E.A. Law

Author of Her Shadow in the Sky

E.A. Law is the pen name of Elizabeth Thomas. Although she originally aspired to be a creative writer, she became distracted writing software instead, spending several decades building complex automated systems and solving technical issues. Over that time, she collected experiences and observations about life that eventually demanded to be turned into stories. When she isn't writing, she enjoys traveling, sailing, and dancing to 80s music.

Cindy Evans Voorhees

Author of Spiritual Architect

Reverend Canon Cindy Evans Voorhees is an Episcopal priest, spiritual leader, entrepreneur, and spiritual architect dedicated to helping leaders discover the courage to live into their calling. Before entering the priesthood, Cindy founded Voorhees Design, an interior design and liturgical consulting firm specializing in sacred spaces. Her experience designing physical spaces became the foundation for a deeper calling: helping people build lives and communities grounded in faith, purpose, and courageous leadership. Cindy has served in leadership within the Episcopal Diocese of Los Angeles, including as vicar of St. James the Great in Newport Beach, and was named a Canon of the Cathedral Center of St. Paul. Her work has taken her beyond the church into boardrooms, communities, and war zones, including Ukraine, where she has witnessed firsthand the resilience of people facing unimaginable loss and uncertainty. A passionate storyteller and teacher, Cindy believes stories have the power to cross boundaries, expand understanding, and inspire change.
